Programs/Storytimes
Storytimes are only an introduction to the wonderful world of books and reading! Don't forget to check out books -- it is an important part of the storytime experience!! Take time to read to your child.
- Story Time is a 30-minute session for preschoolers once a week either Tuesday or Wednesday at 9:30 or 10:30, ages 2- 5 years
- Book Bunch is for 4th- 6th graders*
- Baby & Me is for babies, birth-12 months and an adult (please, no siblings) in a 20 minute story time.
- Toddler Time is a 20 minute story time for children 13-23 months & an adult. ( Please no siblings)
Parents/adult caregivers are required to attend programs with their preschool children. If special accommodations are needed to attend any Portage Public Library Youth Services programs, please call 742-4959 two weeks in advance.
*Parents/adult caregivers are not required to attend these programs with their children.

Registration for the Summer Library Program & preschool story time begins June 4th.
Story time begins Wednesday, June 6th, @ 10:00 a.m. NO EARLY REGISTRATIONS. You may register by stopping by the library, calling 742-4959, or registering online (not available yet).
