Teen "Bad Art" Night

Have you ever looked back and laughed at an old picture you had drawn when you were really young? Maybe your dinosaur was missing one (or two) legs, or the dog you sketched looked more like an ostrich monster. We all have different talents, of course - some people are "natural artists", and some people have a hard time drawing a stick figure. And that's okay!

... but this night is NOT the night for talent!

Join us at the library to paint whatever absurd, silly, strange art you're inspired to make! There are only two rules: it must be library appropriate (if you're not sure what that means, ask Chris), and it must be BAD... So bad, in fact, that it's good! No talent required - so noone needs to be ashamed of what they make! Just create something awful looking that you can be proud of, then we'll hang it in the teen area for everyone to admire!

For teens 6th to 12th grade only. REGISTRATION REQUIRED (we only have a finite amount of supplies). 15 slots available max. Anyone intentionally making a mess could be asked to leave, so just don't go too wild, you know?

Registration must be done online at: http://www.portagelibrary.us/node/729/register

All supplies will be provided. If you need to cancel, please call Chris at 608-742-4959 x203, or e-mail him at cbaker [at] portagelibrary.us so he can open the slot up for someone else!
