Bring the voice of the family to addiction and recovery with Wisconsin We C.A.N (Change Addiction Now) support group.
Our guiding principals are:
- Addiction is a chronic brain disease
- All family members are impacted when there is a loved one with an addiction
- Those with addictions need access to afforable treatment, aftercare, and recovery services that includes the family
- Addiction is a public health problem impacting our families and communities
- United, we CAN change addiction now!
Our group provides support, education and advocacy by:
- Giving the opportunity to share with other families with similar life experiences
- Providing learning events to develop a greater understanding of addiction and recovery
- Providing workplace education on addiction and support resources for employees and families
- Sharing activities for families to get involved and spread awareness on addiction issues
- Coaching family recovery
