Each Playaway comes with the digital content already pre-loaded on it.  Just add a AAA battery and headphones (or ear buds). Press the button and listen.  The best way to search in our catalog for Playaways is by author and put in "Playaway".  Look for the red Audio Book stickers on the spine, along with the label

A Young Adult non-fiction collection has been created featuring new titles on topics such as yoga, knitting, screen writing, and gender issues.  Located on the bookshelf next to the YA fiction racks, the YA non-fiction collection will continue to grow with books on current, high interest subject matters, but also continue to feature perennial favorites like the "Chicken Soup" series.
