Summer Library Program (SLP) Registration
Summer Library Program registration begins June 7, 2013 @10:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. Registration will be ongoing until the end of July. Ages birth-17. You can register and turn in reading slips between 10-8 Monday thru Thursday, 10-4 Fridays, 10-1 Saturdays. No phone registration, please!

After you've registered online, be sure to stop at the Portage Public Library to pick up your reading slips/folders and other important papers! Be sure to get all the information about free, fun activities this summer at your local library. I dig reading, do you??!
Summer Library Program Reading Challenge
The Summer Library Program Reading Challenge trophy went to Rusch Elementary School in 2012. Which school will get the trophy this year?? The only way your school can get it is by being the school with the largest percentage of students completing the Summer Library Program. To complete the program, you must have 10 hours of reading slips turned into the library.

Papa Murphy's Pizza 
Papa Murphy's has a program that if you read 10 books, you will receive free cookie dough. You have to pick up a card @ the library when you register for the SLP. If you already have registered, then stop by to get a card. When you read 10 books, bring it into the library and a librarian will sign the card. Then you may turn it in to Papa Murphy's for free cookie dough.
